Course Objectives The aim of this course is to make students, who are Basic Users in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference, achieve B1.2 level, which is named as threshold.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to express themselves on topics like, presenting the problem, explaining an initiative, challenging, describing an experience, highlighting a discovery, and criticizing.
  • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to communicate on topics like, tell about lifestyle, talking about unnecessary and ambiguous information and, asking questions.
  • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to create short texts like, challenging, talk about scientific facts and highlighting a discovery.
  • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to follow conversations about, talking about the problem, making attempts, talking about benefits of recycling, revealing scientific facts.
  • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to analyze texts about explaining a problem, highlighting an event, reading third page news and make criticism.
Course Description This course is designed to prepare students to present a problem, explain the initiative, challenging, talking about scientific facts, discoveries and nature.
