Course Objectives The purpose of internship is to enhance academic studies of students with field experience. The internship also aims to provide opportunities for students to experience real translation tasks in real work environments.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • apply theoretical and practical lessons learned during undergraduate education in a real work environment
  • explain the requirements of professional life in teamwork or individual work
  • discuss the dynamics of the translation market
  • apply their own methods of crisis management in real work environments
  • write down the experience acquired during the internship as a report
  • use source and target languages in the context of various real translation tasks.
Course Description Internship covers field experience at a workplace approved by the department. Students should follow the instructions stated in IUE Internship Guide in order to successfully complete their internships.
