Vision
The vision of English Translation and Interpreting Department is to become a department that leads the field of translation and interpreting with academic publications and projects, trains the students as translators and scholars who will be able to have a say in the future of the sector in the light of contemporary training techniques, scientific methods and approaches and without sacrificing education quality. In order to reach our vision, English Translation and Interpreting Department has set its mission, as indicated below.

The mission of our department is to train multilingual translators who have a good command of the subject area, who can look critically, who are open to innovations and scientific research, who are sensitive to universal values, who respect society and ethical values, who are highly competitive in the market.
