Ece Fişek - Shortlisted among the Highly Commended Entrants* in the field of Literature
Ece Fişek transformed her poster project from the ETI 470 (Translation History) course into a research paper titled "Translating Allegory as Parody: A Comparative Textual Analysis of Turkish Translation of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies (1954)", submitted it to the competition, and was honored with the "Highly Commended 2024" Award.
*Entrants whose paper or project ranked in the top 10% of submissions in their category, are shortlisted as Highly Commended Entrants.

International Scholarships earned by Our Students
-Barış Sadıç received Turkey Graduate Scholarship for College of Europe in 2019-2020 Academic Year. Our student has completed a full scholarship master's degree in European Policy and Governance Studies at Bruges campus in Belgium.
-Yonca Kandemir has been entitled to receive TEV -DAAD International Master's Scholarship. Our student continues her master's degree in linguistics at Nuremberg Friedrich Alexander Erlangen University in Germany.
-Betül Akçakaya, has achieved first place in the 17th Chinese Bridge World University Students Chinese competition along with 4 Confucius Institutes located in Turkey and 52 students studying in the Chinese departments of the universities participated in the competition. Akçakaya has represented Turkey in the Chinese capital, Beijing. She completed her master's degree with a scholarship in Chinese at Fudan University in China.
-Hüseyin Kuru was accepted to the Summer Academy on "International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy" organized jointly by the Greek Cultural Foundation (Hellenic Foundation for Culture) and Panteion University Institute of International Relations in the summer of year 2014 and successfully completed the summer school.
-Emine Aydınoğlu was awarded a scholarship to attend the 2-month intensive language course provided by DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst- German Academic Exchange Service) to provide German language education to students in other countries and successfully completed this course.
