The 14th Young Translators Contest was held in Istanbul on January 17, 2026.
Organized by the Directorate for EU Affairs since 2010, this esteemed competition aims to raise awareness among future translators regarding Turkey's accession process to the European Union and contributes to the training of qualified human resources in this field. This year, a total of 164 students from 47 universities competed in English, German, and French. First-place winners are awarded a visit to EU institutions in Brussels, while the runners-up are granted participation in the "European Union Basic Training Program" organized by ATAUM.
