GOT A JOB OFFER ON HER GRADUATION DAY
The graduation ceremony of 2011-2012 academic year at Izmir University of Economics (IEU) was celebrated enthusiastically. 1147 students threw caps in the air after they received their diplomas.
Ekrem Demirtaş, President of the Board of Trustees, reminding last year’s student , Cansu Uçar, again from the Department of English Translation and Interpreting, who ranked first in class, is currently working at Izmir Chamber of Commerce – a job offer again made by Mr. Demirtaş, followed his own tradition and made a job offer to Merve Avşaroğlu. Merve Avşaroğlu will be employed at Izmir University of Economics as a research assistant upon her own request.
